Thanks, this is a wonderful thing that you do and we all appreciate it. There are a lot of Marines that don’t have someone at home to send them things and you are the one who hears their request. I’m sure that with all your regular activities this is something that you could just stop or say who cares. Your are the one who cares and we all can see this and will always remember this. "This site and what it stands for are shining beacons for many of us over here. Some people like myself, who have grown tired of petty bickering at home while US soldiers and civilians die in the desert, feel (more than) a little renewed knowing that there are those in the States who are willing to set aside their personal opinions long enough to show a little love for this nations fathers, mothers, sons and daughters. People who are willing to do a very demanding and life altering job that some can't do and many others would not touch with a stick. People who, if circumstances were different, could easily have become your best friends or trusted neighbors. A good portion of the strength of our nation is not necessarily our military. But rather people like those involved with H.O.T.! Those who firmly stand behind our servicemen and servicewomen, those who support us while we work and hold us when we come home. In that aspect, we may not be "best friends or trusted neighbors", but we're not strangers.
